How to request deletion of your personal data from Data2Buy Services
Why This Page Exists
If you use our service (including via third-party platforms or integrations), you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We provide this page so you can easily understand what data we hold and how to ask us to delete it. We respond to all valid deletion requests in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
What Data We Store
When you use Data2Buy Services, we may store:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (hashed)
- Order and transaction history: data bundle purchases, recipient numbers, amounts, references, and transaction IDs
- Wallet and payments: balance, top-up history, and payment references (we do not store full card details)
- Support and communications: messages or tickets you send us
- Reseller/agent data: if you are a reseller or agent, store details, application information, and related records
- Logs: access logs and security-related logs as needed to operate and secure the service
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data:
- Contact us using one of the methods below (email or WhatsApp).
- Clearly state that you want to request deletion of your personal data (or close your account and delete your data).
- Provide the email address or phone number associated with your account so we can identify your data.
- We will confirm receipt and process your request within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days). We may ask you to verify your identity to protect your data.
After deletion, we will remove or anonymise your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained where we have a legal obligation to keep it (for example for tax or fraud prevention).
